Odyssey is a Web3 NFT project launched by a singer-songwriter to foster a cross-disciplinary community. We focused on storytelling and PFP NFTs to unite creators through music and design. As a project designer, I handled creative direction, production integration, and cross-team coordination. I also aligned the design with Web3 tech for generative minting and planned marketing campaigns and community events to deliver an engaging launch experience.

As the lead design supervisor, I tackled three core challenges beyond my design duties:
Cross-Team Communication — Acted as the key liaison between the 3D animation team, in-house developers, and executive stakeholders to align creative and technical goals.
Timeline Planning — Built and executed a backward production schedule from launch, covering character design, animation, and marketing phases.
Technical Alignment — Reapplied my 3D design knowledge to ensure asset feasibility and bridged communication between design and smart contract development for smoother integration.
I led early-stage planning by defining the roadmap and aligning the character-driven IP with launch goals. Working backward from the release date, I mapped key milestones, calculated trait logic for 6,666 unique NFTs, and ensured each PFP felt engaging. I also turned cross-team needs into clear plans and aligned stakeholders across the artist’s team, 3D studio, and developers.
I designed a theme driven website structured around three narrative stages “Departure, Growth, and Bloom” to reflect the project’s evolving story and community journey. The content was released in sync with the roadmap phases. I also translated character traits into a functional UI kit and consolidated them into a scalable design system for consistency across all digital touchpoints.

I planned and hosted community events on Odyssey’s Discord based on the project roadmap, designing themed visual content for social media promotions at each phase. To bridge online and offline engagement, I also created print-ready promotional materials for use at Web3 NFT exhibitions and in-person community events.
